Here we go again:)

When we started this blog in 2007 to communicate with our friends and family during our trip to Colombia to adopt Athena, I never would have imagined that I would be starting it up again more than 3 years later in preparation to bring home a little brother or sister for Athena. I was planning to wait until we had some exciting news before I began posting again, but it's summer break now and I have more time on my hands and the excitement of blogging again got the best of me:)

We're still just waiting for news. Last I heard from our coordinator at LSS our dossier was still with the translator and not yet submitted to the orphanage. I did get an email from LSS 2 days ago congratulating us on recently sending our dossier to Colombia and attached were all of the travel materials/info and in-country information for when we finally do go back again. I took that as a good sign. I've been hearing rumblings of several referrals lately to families from our agency, so hopefully we're moving up the waiting list. We are currently 14 months into our 15-36 month estimated wait. I'll post any info when we get it!

For now I'm just enjoying having a bit of free time to spend with Ena now that grad school is finally done and I'm on summer break. I added a picture of Ena and her BFF Amber just so everyone can see how BIG she is getting. Sweet angel baby, she's so excited to be a big sister. I have a feeling she may be the most excited one when we finally get the phone call!
